The Arab Union of Surveyors organized an International Scientific Conference on surveying and topography at Bustan Grand Hotel in Beirut from 29 June to 1st of July 2009. The conference attracted totally about 400 participants from most Arab countries and some European countries in addition to FIG and other prestigious governmental representatives.
Topcon and Almourad (Topcon’s dealer in Lebanon) were strongly present as key players. Philippe Akl, Topcon’s Sales & Marketing Manager said:” The cooperation with the Arab Union of Surveyors is a natural outcome of the mutual respect and appreciation of each other’s role in the development of the positioning industry in the region. We congratulate the Union for the successful event and look forward to further strengthening communication and cooperation in the future.”
